Gift Of Problems
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. . .Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him." James 1:2-4,12
Being a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, it is important to harness the gifts within every trial and tribulation laid before us. There are many instances and many people who tend to give up in the face of obstacles. Many of us lack being tenacious in many aspects of our lives. So much of the world is taught to move on quickly to the next thing; constantly looking for the easy button.
There is no easy button in life and those hard times thrown at you are to help you grow in some way. It is those fallen moments which help us mature. Our sufferings are the teachers of our soul. Here, we open our heart and mind to the bare essence of faith and hope by laying what we see as failure in the hands of the Lord. We would should trust more in where we have been placed and what we must succumb.
"So, if you are depressed by worry, instead of brooding on yourself and your woes, fill your mind with the Lord and all His works. You will not remain depressed for long: 3Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee." Isaiah 26:3
