Top Her Couture

April 13th, 2013 at the Colorado School of Mines, the N.P.C. We are coming down to the wire as Colorado continues to be a buzz prepping for the first national qualifier of the year . We were so pleased to see a venue change from the usual Boulder Theatre to Bunker Auditorium on the campus of the Colorado School of Mines.  This location should add the much needed space this ever growing show was needing. With two weeks left to perk those buns, round out the shoulders, and tighten those abs; The Gym Miss Fits and Mayhem continue training daily with trainers Chris Williamson and Shaun Spiers.  It is simply amazing to see the progress not just within the last few months; but day to day.  All of the girls are now posing in their custom suits by Top Her Couture with posing coach and N.P.C. bikini competitor, Ashley Dennis.  You will be able to see her again at the Mile High with sister and team mate Cortney Dennis-Romero. www.capturesque.com The Gym Miss Fits and Mayhem trained, diet, prepared, posed, and got their competition heads on.  This was one of the biggest local shows of the year with over 250 competitors.  The Miss Fits all competed in Bikini: Ashley Dennis, Alyssian Vissat, Ambrosia Williams, LisaPfenning, and Julie Ezcaldo.  The Mayhem all competed in Physique: Cortney Durow, Robert T., and Scott R.  For every one but Ashley and Aly, this was their first time on stage.  Each has over come some sort of frustration, fear, or obstacle to make an appearance. 2012 Class D Winner Ambrosia competed in both Novice and Open Bikini Class C and did it all as a Vegan. . .no chicken or fish for this girl.  Boy did she look amazing!  Trainer: Shaun Spiers  Suit: Top Her Couture  Hair & Make-up:On Point, Tan: Zolarium Lisa competed in both Masters and Novice Bikini.  She might be 50 but looking at her toosh and those great legs; you would n...

The 2012 NPC Nationals in Atlanta this weekend brought some tough competition. Having never placed in any of her earlier national debuts, Crystal Green was all business as she received her IFBB bikini pro card this weekend. Congrats!! You can expect her to take the pro stage in Iowa to finish out the 2012 year.

The 2012 NPC Colorado State Championship is less than a week away and The Gym Miss Fits and Mayhem are busy getting ready.  This years event is held in The Buell Theatre with a lot of extra perks and sponsor prizes including $250 gift certificate to each overall winner. This venue is sure to continue to grow and become a NPC Colorado highlight. Jen Anderson, Nira Williams, Robin Repass, and Julia Bell hit the stage with 9News Bikini After Baby Series winners Angie Dangler and Julie Gasca.  Each competitor has set goals for themselves as well as for the competition.  Many of these women never thought they would take a stage let alone in a bikini; but with the help of trainer Chris Williamson, posing coach, Ashley Dennis, and support from The Gym family, they will each be representing Gym 303.  Over 100 lbs was shed to get the team competition ready!  Good luck and congrats to all the competitors, their trainers, and support systems.

NPC Colorado kicked off the season with a Novice & Masters Championship Sunday March 18th.  Taking stage was Michelle Lococo, Natalie Little, and Sean Looney representing The Gym Miss Fits & Mayhem.  The venue at Red & Jerry's Event Center was perfect for this show.  The set up was by far one of the best. Prejudging, Sean took stage first with four gentlemen in his class.  His posing was great and he kept a smile the whole time [even after almost walking off stage too soon-way to keep your composure!].  Natalie soon followed with six or seven women in her class.  Ashley Dennis, her posing coach, called out little corrections from the crowd.  You could hear fellow team mates cheering her on as the once semi-silent center got rowdy!  Unfortunately, Michelle did not have very much competition in her class being one of two in her figure class.
