Dare Twenty Two: Love is Faithful

"I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness. Then you will know the Lord."

Love is a choice, not a feeling.  It is an initiated action, not a knee-jerk reaction.  So many times we throw our hands up and walk away even when we still love some one when they are not willing to accept our love.  Love is stronger than this and requires more effort.  Today, regardless of whether someone is will to accept your love or not, let them know you love them even if they do not return the love.
Hosea 2:20

  1. I pray that you will realize that your blog, as your life, is a complete contradiction.

How can you love God and yet disown his words?

    What is purity?
    what is obedience?

I'm afraid you have seriously missed his point and sadly are leading many more people away from him than you are toward him.

I pray he breaks your heart...only he knows your heart.

James 3:10-12 Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers, this should not be. Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? My brothers, can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water.

Matthew 23:27-28 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men’s bones and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.

    1. I find it interesting that one can say such things to a complete stranger and not realize that they too are a walking contradiction and have judged another's journey. Being new to the words of God, I have followed published works to aide my journey. . .these are not teachings-They are an account of my experiences with Him. I will pray for you as I would never wish anyone's heart to break.

None of us are perfect-we all deal with unclean circumstances each and every day. These dealings are the things that teach us more about purity, God, obedience, His heart, etc.

"Do not show partiality in judging; hear both small and great alike. Do not be afraid of anyone, for judgment belongs to God. Bring me any case too hard for you, and I will hear it.” Deuteronomy 1:17
