Leaving today with trainer and friend, Chris Williamson, Karl Biermann heads to the New York Pro to compete in his second pro show.  He took sixth late last year at the Orange County Muscle Classic Pro.  Twenty other gentlemen are taking stage to hopefully get a first place and a bid to the Olympia.  This is the first year the Olympia will have Men's and Women's physique. Speaking of Women's Physique, June 1st marks the first pro show in Colorado at the Mile High.  The Gym is training hard with Cortney, Ashley, and Erica re-qualifying in bikini and newbies, Leia, Maggie, and Jen making their debut.  Men's Physique has some dashing gentlemen: Greg, Courtney, Jesse, Brian, and Adam [who also will being sharing the stage with his lovely wife Liz].  Many of these competitors will be USA bound upon qualification.  Good luck to all competitors!!!

We are coming down to the wire as Colorado continues to be a buzz prepping for the first national qualifier of the year . We were so pleased to see a venue change from the usual Boulder Theatre to Bunker Auditorium on the campus of the Colorado School of Mines.  This location should add the much needed space this ever growing show was needing. With two weeks left to perk those buns, round out the shoulders, and tighten those abs; The Gym Miss Fits and Mayhem continue training daily with trainers Chris Williamson and Shaun Spiers.  It is simply amazing to see the progress not just within the last few months; but day to day.  All of the girls are now posing in their custom suits by Top Her Couture with posing coach and N.P.C. bikini competitor, Ashley Dennis.  You will be able to see her again at the Mile High with sister and team mate Cortney Dennis-Romero. Karl Biermann recently turned IFBB Physique Pro at the 2012 USA Championship in Las Vegas, NV less than a month ago by placing first in Class F.  He is currenly on his way to L.A. with trainer Chris Williamson [along with long time bodybuilder turned physique, Jimmy Nguyen] as he takes his first steps on a pro stage at the Orange County Muscle Classic at Veteran's Memorial Auditorium in Culver City, CA.  He is slated with 12 other competitors including Tyler Larson of Hollywood, CA, Sadik Hadzovic of Westbury, NY, and Matt Christianson of Scottsdale, AZ who took first at the Governor's Cup in March. “Good overall look on stage. Needs to bring his waist in a little bit – he can look a little wide there in some poses.” said USA Championship judges about Karl. The Miss Fits and Mayhem are all eager to see how team mate Karl does at his first stage presentation as a pro.  Good Luck Karl!

Karl Biermann and new IFBB Pro July 27-28th, 2012 the NPC USA Championship was held on the UNLV campus with over 1,100 competitors in physique, bodybuilding, and bikini. The two day event showcased some of the most beautiful bodies in the nation with many classes packed with over 30 competitors in each. Trainer Chris Williamson and the help of family, friends, and the gym family were completely excited to hear of the news. We came, we saw, we conquered!  The Gym Miss Fits and Mayhem spent weeks and months improving, building, leaning out, and dieting.  The prepartion for the Junior USAs was complete and along the way; they found themselves learning more than just what a national event was all about.  They found very valuable life lessons in the four day adventure. When we travel, we meet a lot of new and interesting people.  Take Dave-A gentleman whom had lost his wife only two months ago to a brain stem tumor.  In just telling me of his loss I admired his strength.  I would not be able to fight the tears.  He went on to tell me how we are a very naive society.  Many of us think "it will never happen to me" or "that only happens in the movies".  He said he was one of those people and said how we should love the people that matter most each and every day.  We may not get the chance tomorrow.     The Junior USAs offered ...

The two day event for the 2011 NPC North American Championship in Cleveland, Ohio proved to be more difficult than The Gym's fitness team had anticipated.  Upon talking with their coach, Chris Williamson , all their morale were high and they were excited to take stage early on.  For half of the team, this was their first national competition.  They all went out there with sass, confidence, and worked the stage.  Four of the ten competitors placed top ten: Karl Biermann, Erica Cobb, Lana Hofman, and Cortney Dennis-Romero.  Karl Biermann 3rd Place  Frank Duru  16th Place Class C  Jesse Lehman 12th Place  Matt Horton 12th Place    Class B                           Class A All of these competitors will be continuing their journey with Miami Nationals just around the corner!...

August 28th, 2011 was a very dirty day in the lives of The Gym Miss Fits & Mayhem.  Headed up by gym mom, Erica Cobb and Owner/Trainer, Chris Williamson , the team made it out to Colorado Offroad Extreme [C.O.R.E.] early in the morning.  All who attended: Chris Williamson, Erica Cobb, Jasmin Sanchez, Cortney Romero, Ashley Dennis, Jackie Morris, Lana Hofman, Crystal Bragazzi, Crystal McClure, Natalie Little, Kelly Duman, Alyssian Vissat, Karl Biermann, Frank Duru, Matt Horton, Kim Hall, Adrianne Martinez, and of course Brett Seeley.  It was a fun and creative way to support team comradery as well as lighten the pressure of Nationals just a week out.  The camoflauge and black outfits were hardly visible by the end; not a clean body left! Special thank you to C.O.R.E. staff and Colin for the use of his offroad buggy.  He is an extremely talented driver and wish him the best from all The Gym.

The Miss Fits and Mayhem, ten strong, are three weeks out from another national show.  This time they head to Cleveland, OH for the NPC North American with their trainer, Chris Williamson .  This is probably one of the largest teams to actually travel together to an event as well as compete.  The bikini, figure, and physique divisions are about to be bombarded by some of Colorado's most upbeat and trained athletes.  The bikini division will take top two overalls in open class to receive their pro card, physique division will take class winners, and figure division open class will also take top two in overalls.  This determined group of Miss Fits is about to cause a whole bunch of Mayhem.   Ashley Dennis Bikini Division   Cortney Dennis-Romero Bikini Division  Lana Hofman Figure Division  Jasmin Sanchez Bikini Division   Jackie Morris Bikini Division   Jesse Lehman Physique Division Karl Biermann Physique Divis...
