April 13th, 2013 at the Colorado School of Mines, the N.P.C. The 2012 NPC Colorado State Championship is less than a week away and The Gym Miss Fits and Mayhem are busy getting ready.  This years event is held in The Buell Theatre with a lot of extra perks and sponsor prizes including $250 gift certificate to each overall winner. This venue is sure to continue to grow and become a NPC Colorado highlight. Jen Anderson, Nira Williams, Robin Repass, and Julia Bell hit the stage with 9News Bikini After Baby Series winners Angie Dangler and Julie Gasca.  Each competitor has set goals for themselves as well as for the competition.  Many of these women never thought they would take a stage let alone in a bikini; but with the help of trainer Chris Williamson, posing coach, Ashley Dennis, and support from The Gym family, they will each be representing Gym 303.  Over 100 lbs was shed to get the team competition ready!  Good luck and congrats to all the competitors, their trainers, and support systems.

The 2012 NPC USA Championship is six weeks out and most of us have begun booking travel, making appointments, and training harder than ever.  Stephani Guzzardo, owner of Jua Salon in Cherry Creek North, will be available 7/26-7/28 to spray athletes who are competing.  She is a perfectionist when it comes to her technique and uses a paraben free spray by South Seas.  Stephani will be limiting her schedule to 10-15 clients during the competition.  This is to ensure the best one-on-one service and flawless tan. Fees are as follows:   Mens & Women's BB, Women's Physique     $150      2 day spray:  2 base coats, up to 3 competition                                            ...

What a beautiful morning for an NPC competition. Representing The Gym are Brian for men's physique, Caitlin in Figure, and Keisha in bikini. Brian looked great! The judges did not do call outs for novice or open in his class nor did they change anyone around.   Keisha got first call outs in bikini novice class a. Only three weeks of dieting and training. . .as always OnPoint make up and hair service added to the total package. Keisha said that was going to be the most fun part! Smaller open class so no call outs.  Caitlin also got no call outs for either classes. Congrats to the Miss Fits & Mayhem as they all took home trophies.  Brian took 3rd in his novice & 6th in open.  Caitlin took 2nd in her open & novice classes, and Keisha took home two first place trophies.  Great work from The Gym and their trainer, Chris Williamson.

We came, we saw, we conquered!  The Gym Miss Fits and Mayhem spent weeks and months improving, building, leaning out, and dieting.  The prepartion for the Junior USAs was complete and along the way; they found themselves learning more than just what a national event was all about.  They found very valuable life lessons in the four day adventure. When we travel, we meet a lot of new and interesting people.  Take Dave-A gentleman whom had lost his wife only two months ago to a brain stem tumor.  In just telling me of his loss I admired his strength.  I would not be able to fight the tears.  He went on to tell me how we are a very naive society.  Many of us think "it will never happen to me" or "that only happens in the movies".  He said he was one of those people and said how we should love the people that matter most each and every day.  We may not get the chance tomorrow.     The Junior USAs offered ...

The Gym is so very excited to have a large group of male and female competitors this year. There are so many new faces and new inspirations continuing to flood its facility.   Starting us off this year is the Denver Novice & Master Championship held at River Point Event Center on March 18 th starting at 11 a.m.   Miss Fit Natalie Little and Mayhem Sean Looney will be competing in bikini and physique.   Right behind them are a handful of Miss Fits and Mayhem tearing up the NPC Colorado Northern April 14 th in figure, physique, bikini and fitness.   We look forward to their progression and pushing them each and every day. The first national event taking place in South Carolina May 19 th is the Junior USAs.   Ashley Dennis, Cortney Romero, Lana Hofman, Kim Hall, Alyssian Vissat, Matt Horton, Karl Biermann, and Chris Williamson fight for their IFBB Pro cards in Physique, Figure, and Bikini .   They all have begun training, cleaning up diets...
