With 10 days left until the two day event in Loveland, CO, The Gym Miss Fits and Mayhem continue to train like champs!  The eight bikini girls and a few men's physique competitors are said to be starting to get nervous and excited.  Two-thirds of this group is new to the stage.  The Gym Family looks forward to seeing them strut their stuff on the catwalk including our two 9 News Bikini Body After Baby Series moms, Eva & Victoria [appropriately dubbed Team Viva!]. Eva & Victoria are furiously sweating off those last few pounds for their big debut.  They began training at The Gym earlier this year with trainer & coach, Chris Williamson.  It has been an amazing journey to watch these ladies grow self confidence and enjoy their new bodies.  Even more admirable is that their husbands were along side them the whole way.  That's right!  These men came to boot camp, training sessions, and posing classes.  Way to go men! We are coming down to the wire as Colorado continues to be a buzz prepping for the first national qualifier of the year . We were so pleased to see a venue change from the usual Boulder Theatre to Bunker Auditorium on the campus of the Colorado School of Mines.  This location should add the much needed space this ever growing show was needing. Congratulations to Sean Looney, Mayhem member out of New York.  He took first at the N.P.C. New England Championship this past weekend.  He is now qualified for nationals and will be traveling with the team next year as they make their way across the nation to earn their pro cards.  Many thanks go to coach Chris Williamson at The Gym in Denver, CO. There is a path we all must take. At one time or another which is where we do not want to trek. It is the unknown and many times seems to be the farthest from our dreams. It may even feel as though a part of us has died when diverted; but this is where faith has to take hold, and we have to let it. A fall chill was beginning in the alpine air as Chris, his father, Samantha, and I made our way into the changing trees at Kenosha Pass. The streets were flooded with cars, bicycles, hikers, photographers, and an array of families. We all had one thing in common that day-to see the trees change. The trailhead already painted with golds, oranges, and dull greens as if the mountain side was on fire. We made our way down winding paths and narrow trails to find dead end after dead end. Getting prepared for a competition is always hard work no matter who you are. Not to mention we are all doing it for different reasons-get in shape, lose weight, reach a goal, etc. For Angie Dangler and Julie Gasca, it was so much more than just losing weight or being a part of the 9news Bikini Body After Baby Series. These two mothers signed up early this year with a goal set in their head. Angie said, "I had in my mind 25lbs was a good goal. . .". With The Gym's first pro show underway, the Miss Fits and Mayhem are also focusing on putting the finishing touches on their training as they head into the final week before the 2012 Warrior classic held in Loveland, CO.  This national qualifier has been deamed one of the most fluid, organized, and fun shows of the year.  Taking stage from The Gym is the 9news Bikini Body After Baby Series winners, Julie Gasca and Angie Dangler.  Each of these women has lost over 50lbs to take stage as well as develop a new confidence with their new found bodies provided by Chris Williamson , Mile High Max Muscle , Seeley Photography , and 9News.  Julie will be in Bikini Division and Angie will be in Figure Division. . .you are sure to see a large group of supporters hooting and hollering at this show. Karl Biermann and new IFBB Pro July 27-28th, 2012 the NPC USA Championship was held on the UNLV campus with over 1,100 competitors in physique, bodybuilding, and bikini. The two day event showcased some of the most beautiful bodies in the nation with many classes packed with over 30 competitors in each. Trainer Chris Williamson and the help of family, friends, and the gym family were completely excited to hear of the news. Julia, Nira, Jenn, Robin, Chris The Gym hits the stage for another beautifully done show by Jeff Taylor. The venue was an A+ with rooms filled with colorado's tip top shape competitors. Miss fits all took home trophies. Robin took fourth in 40+ masters. Nira took fourth in novice b and third in open c. Julia took fifth novice c. Jenn took first open f and had a close overall comparison. Mayhem Shaun took second in both masters and open c. Congrats to every one for their hard work! The 2012 NPC Colorado State Championship is less than a week away and The Gym Miss Fits and Mayhem are busy getting ready.  This years event is held in The Buell Theatre with a lot of extra perks and sponsor prizes including $250 gift certificate to each overall winner. This venue is sure to continue to grow and become a NPC Colorado highlight. Jen Anderson, Nira Williams, Robin Repass, and Julia Bell hit the stage with 9News Bikini After Baby Series winners Angie Dangler and Julie Gasca.  Each competitor has set goals for themselves as well as for the competition.  Many of these women never thought they would take a stage let alone in a bikini; but with the help of trainer Chris Williamson, posing coach, Ashley Dennis, and support from The Gym family, they will each be representing Gym 303.  Over 100 lbs was shed to get the team competition ready!  Good luck and congrats to all the competitors, their trainers, and support systems.

An amazing performance by The Gym Misss Fits and Mayhem at the 2012 NPC Junior National Show in Chilcago, IL this weekend.  It proved once again to be come stiff competition for all competitors as they competed for their pro cards. Chris Williamson took 14th in Physique Class A.  Adrianne Martinez did not place in Bikini Class B but was complimented by many NPC officials on her beauty and poise.  They both plan to put in some hard work and compete later this year. What a beautiful morning for an NPC competition. Representing The Gym are Brian for men's physique, Caitlin in Figure, and Keisha in bikini. Brian looked great! The judges did not do call outs for novice or open in his class nor did they change anyone around.   Keisha got first call outs in bikini novice class a. Only three weeks of dieting and training. . .as always OnPoint make up and hair service added to the total package. Keisha said that was going to be the most fun part! Smaller open class so no call outs.  Caitlin also got no call outs for either classes. Congrats to the Miss Fits & Mayhem as they all took home trophies.  Brian took 3rd in his novice & 6th in open.  Caitlin took 2nd in her open & novice classes, and Keisha took home two first place trophies.  Great work from The Gym and their trainer, Chris Williamson.
