Getting Good Use
Have you ever wandered into Buy Buy Baby, infant/kids section, or other little person aisle and felt overwhelmed with the selection. So much so-you second guessed every toy, playpen, and wet wipe that you had on your registry [or were thinking about purchasing yourself]?
Here are some of the baby things we got the most use out of [and are still using 8 months in]:
4Mom PlayPen: $300 - I know I know! The price - so worth it! We used this with the added accessory insert [making it a changing table & bassinet] since our LO was born. We were able to have her nap, change her diaper, and store some smaller toys all in one place. We have another playpen that was gifted to us and the 4mom is quite a bit lighter and was WAY easier to set up. We have now converted it to a ball pit and she's literally having a ball!
Stacking Cups: $4- This cheap toy has hours of entertainment. Our LO loves when I build the cups up so she can knock them down or bang them all together. These cups will follow us into sensory play and even bath time. They feature numbers, colors, counting, and shapes!
Skip Hop Noise Owl: $34 - Night light, many different sounds and music to find the best thing for your LO. Our little loves the white noise and heart beat the best and we love that you can set how bright the nightlight is as well as the time the machine is on. We liked it so much, we bought the travel version as well.
All things FridaBaby: We have the clippers, nose sucker, silicone brushes, and now tooth brush. I have found their products so great and really work well!
We have found that we DID NOT NEED:

Here are some of the baby things we got the most use out of [and are still using 8 months in]:
Baby Einstein Gym: $50 - What we loved about it was how it converts through baby's developmental stages. Great for back play, has a tummy time pillow to help support while baby's feet tap on the piano, our daughter loves the mirror and other accessories that can be hung in a variety of ways, and then convert the piano for sitting. We started our LO in this play yard at three month-now 8 months and still having a blast!
Vtech Sit to Stand: $35 - This also has a lot of converting making it a great addition to our toy box. We started using at 6 months as our daughter is quick to get the wheels rolling. She loves playing hide n seek with the removable learning pad as well as all the sounds and songs [though the horse doesn't sound anything like a horse-haha!]

We have found that we DID NOT NEED:
- baby wipe warmer : just warm them in your hand while you are getting everything prepared
- we tried to make the steamer work. It took less time to just run frozen breast milk under the faucet
- fancy peri-bottle. The one from the hospital works just fine and its free. I actually was given two!
- bulb: they give these to you at the hospital but the NoseFrida works way better!
- highchair: we bought a Toogel for $48 and will transition into a booster seat ($20) in a month.
These items are things that work for us and our LO loves. Great for registries, christmas gifts, and just because. We were very thoughtful in what we picked to ensure our daughter would not outgrow the item in a few weeks. I hope this helps you and your little have hours of fun and you find the items to be worth every penny just as much as we have.
